What We Offer
At Pace of Play we offer a welcoming atmosphere for competitive players participating in leagues and tournaments, as well as for those looking for a fun date night or casual night out. Come have some fun and hopefully make a memory or two.
Golf Leagues
Leagues will be played at a new course each week with the playoffs being played on top ten courses.

Golf Tournaments
We Will have smaller tournaments with four larger “Majors”.
Golf Lessons
Lessons are available with our certified instructor. The first session is a required two-hour lesson, and each lesson after that is one hour.
Simulator bay rental
We have more than 42,000 golf courses to choose from across the world. If you're just looking for a practice session, our simulator include a driving range, short-yardage chipping greens, long-range approach shots, and on-course practice shots
Our Story
About Pace of Play Indoor Golf
The owners of Pace of Play Indoor Golf, Ron and Threasa Whittington, are residents of Fort Payne, Alabama. Noticing a lack of local entertainment options, they chose to invest in their community by creating an experience centered around something they know and love—golf.
Ron Whittington holds an Associate’s degree in Golf Management from Keiser University College of Golf. While attending Keiser University, Ron also earned his instructor certification, allowing him to provide professional golf lessons.
Pace of Play is not a traditional golf experience. The atmosphere is welcoming and energetic, with a genuine excitement for the game—whether you’re here to perfect your swing or simply see who in your group can hit the ball the farthest, all while enjoying great music and a beverage of your choice.
Beyond golf, we also offer two electronic dart boards. You can play a wide variety of games with friends, challenge players online from across the United States, or jump into online matches as a solo player whenever opponents are available.

What services are included in simulator booth rental?
During a booth rental you have several options fun popping as playing at a golf course or driving range session.
How many people can play in one booth?
If you are wanting to play on a golf course the max is 4 if you are wanting to hit the driving range you can have 6 people at your booth.
Can we have events or parties there?
Yes, if you call we can reserve the facility for your party or event, the max amount of people is 49 including staff.
